Shelda brings a fresh perspective shaped by her experience in environmental geochemistry, water quality analysis and now research in well stimulation. 

Alongside her technical work, she has taken on leadership and communications roles, and has even served as master of ceremonies at a major well operational safety workshop. By sharing her studies and research openly, she already helps make energy careers feel more relatable. As a My Energy Future Champion, she wants to grow her voice, learn from global peers and show young people, especially those from underrepresented regions, that there is space for them in the evolving energy sector.
