The Operations Coordinator

Seydina works as an Operations Coordinator at Global Energy Ventures in Dakar, where he supports energy projects across Senegal. 

His role covers logistics, procurement and equipment management, helping to keep operations running efficiently. By coordinating teams, suppliers and travel, he helps ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule.

Alongside operations, he contributes to business development by engaging with clients and building partnerships. He also represents the company at industry events, gaining exposure to wider energy networks. This experience gives him a clear view of how projects move from planning to delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Working in a growing energy hub, Seydina has seen how the sector is creating new opportunities locally. He understands both the potential of the industry and the challenges young people face in accessing it, particularly where visibility and guidance are limited.
