Khuzama works in workforce development and training within the energy sector in Saudi Arabia. 

Her role focuses on supporting competence frameworks across onshore and offshore operations, helping to ensure that people have the skills and training required to work safely and effectively. By contributing to learning and development processes, she supports the day-to-day performance of energy activities.

With several years of experience in oil and gas, Khuzama has developed a clear understanding of how skills, standards and continuous learning underpin the industry. Alongside her professional role, she is also studying towards a master’s degree in Environment and Sustainable Development. This allows her to explore energy transition, sustainability and global energy challenges, linking practical workforce needs with long-term changes in the sector.

Her experience combines hands-on insight with academic learning, giving her a view of how the energy industry is evolving. She understands how countries are adapting to changing energy demands, and how developing the workforce is a key part of that shift.

As a My Energy Future Champion, Khuzama is interested in supporting a more informed and inclusive view of careers in energy. She shares her perspective as a young professional navigating a changing industry, helping others understand how skills, learning and adaptability can open pathways into the sector.
