Name: Bolajoko Ibrahim
Ibrahim is an Engineer Trainee at Dangote Petroleum Refinery in Lagos, where he is building practical experience in refining operations and process systems. His role provides hands-on exposure to how energy facilities operate, including process monitoring and safety-critical decision-making. This experience helps him understand how energy systems function in real-world conditions.
With a background in chemical engineering, Ibrahim is interested in how energy systems can be improved to better serve both industry and communities. His work in operations gives him insight into efficiency, safety and performance, while also shaping his interest in emerging technologies within the sector.
He brings a perspective that connects day-to-day operations with future-focused thinking. This includes an interest in tools such as digital systems and process optimisation, and how they can improve visibility and support safer, more reliable operations.
