Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up Manager

As a Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up Manager, you’ll be responsible for energy production facilities as their construction is completed and they start to generate power. You’ll oversee the installation of pipes, machinery and equipment, make inspections and run tests to make sure things are working like they should. You’ll help identify and fix issues before energy production gets underway, and you’ll handover responsibility for the plant to its operators.

Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up Managers work onsite at the production facilities they’re responsible for, which might involve travel, being based offshore or working hazardous conditions.

Whether you’re making sure safety standards are in place or co-ordinating a team of engineers to make sure all the required documentation is complete, as a Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up Manager, you’ll make sure that new energy production facilities are ready to operate safely and efficiently.
