Is this the right role for you?

Sourcing the energy mix of the future is going to need…

Health & Safety Manager

As a Health & Safety Manager in the energy industry, you would help to make sure that employees continue to work safely, without incidents or accidents on site. You might also work with an environmental advisor to help keep the environment safe. You would train people in how to keep themselves and others safe and investigate any accidents or incidents to try to find out how to prevent them from happening again.

Health & Safety Managers work for all types of organisations in the energy industry and may be based onshore or offshore. If you were responsible for more than one facility, you may regularly visit other sites.

Whether you’re developing plans for how to respond to emergencies or performing risk assessments to identify how to keep people safe and healthy, as a Health & Safety Manager, you’ll be looking after the people and environments we rely on for our energy.
