Logistics Controller

As a Logistics Controller in the energy industry, you’ll find the most efficient way to get the right supplies to the right places at the right time. You’ll make sure companies have the equipment and materials they need at onshore, offshore and overseas sites by planning the movement of supplies, arranging all the necessary documentation and certifications, negotiating the best costs, securing insurance and keeping everyone updated on any problems or delays. 

Logistics Controllers work in all types of organisation across the energy industry. You might work onshore or offshore, and if you’re based offshore, you might have some shifts that include late nights or early mornings.

Whether you’re preparing customs declarations or submitting certifications for the movement of dangerous goods, as a Logistics Controller, you’ll be helping to keep the energy industry moving.
