Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer in the energy industry, you could help shape how the world meets our energy needs now and in the future. You’ll be creating and testing ideas for new products, equipment and ways of producing and storing energy, as well as how to improve the ways we work now.    

Design Engineers are office-based and might make site visits to onshore and offshore facilities ot address specific design issues. Most design engineers work for energy producers or the specialist contractors and service companies who work with them on a range of design challenges. 

Whether you’re using the latest design and engineering software to solve problems or reporting on the results of your research and testing, as a Design Engineer, you’ll be designing the energy industry of the future.
