Is this the right role for you?

Sourcing the energy mix of the future is going to need…

Control Room Operator

As a Control Room Operator in the energy industry, you could oversee the software systems and technical machinery used to extract oil and gas from under the ground or under the seabed. You’ll monitor all the systems and equipment involved in accessing and processing the oil and gas as well as those that keep the site running smoothly.

Control Room Operators can work at production facilities onshore or offshore. You might work directly for an oil and gas production company or a specialist contractor who oil and gas companies hire to help on specific projects.

Whether you’re directing the process for safely shutting down or restarting production or identifying ways to run production more efficiently, as a Control Room Operator, you’ll be playing a vital role in making sure oil and gas production is safe and efficient.
